LSU Students Waiting Patiently

Not even a 10 AM game can stop the faithful LSU Students from lining up early in hopes of getting the best seat to cheer for the Tigers. I arrived on campus just before six in the morning and made my way straight to Gates 6 & 7. On my way, I saw an LSU Snow White heading toward the stadium, stopping to take a picture with tailgaters that had been out all night.

I talked to a few of the students at the front of the line and they had been there since five. Some were preparing for the game by painting their bodies with purple paint. Normally, for a seven o’clock game, the students begin lining up around noon. This wait wasn’t too bad, especially since the sun didn’t rise until seven or so. As soon as the Tigers came marching down victory hill, the students rushed in to find the best spot in Tiger Stadium.
